Quentin crashes Dads on the Air?
Our guest today is Quentin Kenihan who first came to public attention over thirty years ago when he was interviewed by Mike Willesee for national TV. All these years later we hear again from Quentin about a series of extraordinary experiences, superhero adventures and also trips to the other end of the spectrum when it all seemed very bleak.
At times Quentin has battled depression, loneliness, fear, anxiety and pain. But Quentin has never let disappointment keep him low for long. Before you know it he has his zest for life back again and he is off chasing another goal from his bucket list that is constantly being updated.
Russell Crow has described reading Quentin’s book Not All Superheroes Wear Capes as liberating because you have the opportunity to face life through Quentin’s eyes. The book is brutally honest and at times heartbreaking. Being a bestselling author is new for Quentin but it is his unique way of relating to people and telling his stories that has made him a national figure. Now after his appearance in the latest Mad Max film, Fury Road, he is a star of an international blockbuster movie.
Make sure you listen in to this show to follow Quentin’s journey from severely disabled child through to being the filmmaker, stand-up comedian, radio host, actor and film critic that he is today. This is a truly inspiring time for all of us.
